Toyota started its operations in Europe in 1963 by importing vehicles to Denmark.
Since 1990, Toyota invested over 7 billion euros in its European operations.
Our Sales & Marketing operations in Europe cover 56 countries, thanks to the efforts of 31 National Marketing and Sales Companies (NMSCs).
Toyota vehicles, engines and transmission units are manufactured in 9 plants located in France, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and the UK.
The European headquarters of Toyota are located in Brussels, Belgium. They employ approximately 3,000 people of 60 nationalities.
