We believe that our contribution to society must go beyond providing great products and fostering economic prosperity.
In FY 2008 Toyota committed €7.8 million to social contributions. This investment reflects the combined efforts of Toyota Motor Europe, our National Marketing and Sales Companies, European manufacturing facilities, and the Toyota Fund for Europe. And it does not include the hundreds of hours of time personally rendered by our people. Working closely with not-for-profit partners or non-governmental organisations, we seek to make a real difference to the communities in which we live, work and serve.

Pan-European Activities
Toyota has established a special fund for social contributions, the Toyota Fund for Europe (TFfE). Founded in 2004, the Fund works closely with Toyota’s affiliated companies and ensures that their contributions are consistent with the company’s overall values and priorities.
Via the Fund, Toyota promotes various programmes on environmental awareness, road safety and technical education in partnership with non-governmental organisations. In 2008, a total of €1 million was dedicated to the Fund’s projects.
